09/21/2007 - Rome, Italy (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Roma is the only team in Serie A that can boast a perfect record in league play. However, that mark will be tested on Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico when Juventus come to town.
After finishing second in the table last season, Roma has put together a dream start to this campaign, with three wins in three games by a combined 7-0 score.
The club is coming off of a 2-0 win over Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Wednesday, and confidence is very high around the Italian capital these days.
An opening week win at Palermo showed the rest of Serie A that Roma would not be overlooked with Juventus and AC Milan back in the title picture. That was followed up with wins against Siena and Reggina, giving Roma a two-point lead on last season's champions, Inter Milan.
Francesco Totti, who captured the golden boot with the most goals in league play last season, is off to another good start, netting two goals in the last two games.
Unlike last season, Totti seems to have some help in shouldering the scoring load, with midfielder Alberto Aquilani also scoring twice to help the former Italy international.
Juventus has a world-class striker of its own in David Trezeguet, who has scored four times in the team's opening three games.
The Turin club looked dominant in pounding Livorno 5-1 in the team's return to Serie A, but needed a late goal from Giorgio Chiellini to get past Cagliari in the second contest. Juventus was then unlucky to come away with a 1-0 loss to Udinese last time out, with Alessandro Del Piero hitting the woodwork twice.
Juventus is not taking part in European competition this season after just returning to Serie A because of a match-fixing scandal that saw the team relegated to Serie B. Juve hopes that this will work to its advantage and help to keep the team fresh for a run at the league title.
On Saturday, Udinese looks to build on its win over Juventus last time out with a home contest against Reggina, while AC Milan needed a late goal from Alessandro Nesta to earn a 1-1 draw for his team last time out. Milan will try to get back in the win column on Saturday when the club hosts winless Parma.
Sunday's Serie A action includes Lazio, having drawn all three games this year, traveling to Atalanta, Palermo having taken four points from its last two games and visiting Cagliari, and Catania Calcio hosting a Fiorentina team that has earned two consecutive draws after winning it opener.
Napoli has won its last two games by a combined 7-0 score and tries to keep its strong start going against Empoli, Inter Milan has won its last two after a surprising draw in the opener and visits Livorno, Torino owns three draws in three games and tries to earn more points against Siena, and Sampdoria, which has taken two points from three games, attempts to increase that point total against Genoa.

Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Odds
Will he or won't he? Now that the Dallas Cowboys have a new head coach in Wade Phillips, the big question will be: Does Terrell Owens stay with the team.
Jerry Jones continues to suggest that Terrell Owens will remain with the team.
"I've said that he's back, he's here, he's under contract," Jones said. "In the interviews I've just been through (to hire a new coach), it was very clear to me how highly he's thought of and how much of an impact he had on our offensive success."
Just to be sure though, Terrell Owens cleared out his locker and removed his name plate.
Terrell Owens was among the Cowboys most productive players this past season, catching 85 passes for 1,180 yards and a league-best 13 touchdowns.
But T.O. is due a $3 million roster bonus in June, then a $5 million salary this season. Cutting him before then would save a lot of money and headaches.
Aside from the questions surrounding Terrell Owens, the oddsmakers at MySportsbook.com have concerns over starting quarterback Tony Romo's state of mind and whether he will remain a starting quarterback. It is also not known how players will adjust to new head coach, Wade Phillips.
